 The Nignen Women's Shelter's Mandate is to provide culturally safe and culturally responsive community housing and support services to Indigenous Women and Children requiring assistance to transition to a stable, safe and violence-free living environment. 

The Nignen Women's Shelter's Mission is to become a leading First Nation Women's Shelter that provides high quality and transformative care that enables women and children to live safe and violence free lives.
